“To sum up my thoughts, I would just say this, public dollars need to stay in public education. That would be it in a nutshell,” said John English, director, Unicoi County Public Schools. “There’s just a lot of factors that go into that and I don’t feel [they] are discussed enough in terms of, all of us embrace accountability, there should be accountability. For us, when it comes to planning and the funding and the finances of this proposal, it could certainly impact public education.”
