Gov Roy Cooper: School vouchers are a ‘reckless waste’ of taxpayer money
Handing over billions of dollars to expand the state’s private school voucher program is a “reckless waste” of taxpayer money, Gov. Roy Cooper said on Thursday. Cooper called for a moratorium on school vouchers until the state’s public schools are fully funded.
