Georgia citizens largely reject school vouchers, favor public school support, poll reveals
A poll by a nonprofit in Georgia shows residents are largely against the state’s school voucher proposal. The Georgia Budget and Policy Institute (GBPI) surveyed more than 1,800 people across the state earlier this month. Their poll found 58 percent of North Georgia residents would not support a voucher plan if it took money from public schools.
