Before you take our survey, however, let me share some good news! The emails, phone calls and tweets that you sent to defeat the federal voucher bill worked. The proposed amendments to the defense bill to create vouchers with school Impact Aid did not have the votes to move forward.
NPE joined with military family groups, pro-public education associations and unions to let the House of Representatives know that we oppose vouchers and support public education. Our efforts worked. We will keep you informed of any similar bills as they emerge.
