Prior to ending what was an unprecedented school year, many organizations in the network worked hard to stop the testing of children. Many organizations felt that to test children in the midst of a raging pandemic was both educational malpractice and abusive. The Test and The Art of Thinking is a timely, eye-opening film about the use and misuses of standardized testing in America, and its impact on education and equity in the bigger picture. After a year of monumental change in education, you can now book a screening of the film today to help your team, or wider community, examine the debate around testing and reimagine the future of our schools. Virtual or in-person, this is a great way to team build internally, mobilize your network, amplify your work alongside these issues, or even fundraise – as the filmmakers will offer a way for nonprofit hosts to raise money through their platform during this critical time. Learn more and request a screening here or you can reach out to th*****@ca**********.org .
