RISE Preparatory Charter School closing doors due to ‘lack of time and resources’ to keep state charter

The news release stated that the RISE Board of Directors announced it wanted to terminate its charter from the State Charter Schools Commission of Georgia. RISE Schools noted the school “did not have the time or the resources necessary to ensure sustainable operations past the 2024-25 academic year.”
