There are other ways to reduce the tax burden of effective public schooling. Let your elected state representative and senator know that the impact of vouchers granted to home-schoolers and private schools are draining much needed funds from our local public schools. Approximately 80 percent of voucher users were already attending private schools before they could request public assistance. The argument that vouchers equalize opportunity is false.
