A fairly-funded and quality public education is a basic human right. Vouchers for private education and the encroachment of underperforming and/or agenda driven charter schools are a front door – seen in plain sight – mechanism to ending public education. Any charter school’s application or renewal that does not meet or exceed what is offered by traditional public education serves no community purpose.
