A Siskiyou County public charter school has been sued for not releasing employee salaries and names to an open-records advocacy group, and the group’s executive director said the refusal from Golden Eagle Charter School ties into a bigger issue in the state: charter schools using their quasi-private status to get around California’s sunshine laws.
