Columbia County vote stalls bankruptcy solution for The School for Arts Infused Learning
A deadlocked vote Tuesday kept Columbia County’s only charter school from securing a $13 million bond issue that would save the school from bankruptcy.
The School for Arts Infused Learning requested that the Development Authority of Columbia County issue tax-exempt revenue refunding bonds as a means of buying out the initial loan that first funded the school’s opening in 2017.
