Charter schools: On thin ice, but alive

House Bill 9, a charter school bill in Kentucky has met with some legally wranglings. Specifically KY 120 United-AFT filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Kim Banta because her vote for the charter bill could benefit the company her husband works for. Krauth noted in her article that NPE has vowed to “take legal action” if HB9 becomes law.
