Center for Evaluation and Education Policy: NPE is #3 Edu Think Tank in the Nation

The Center for Evaluation and Education Policy at Indiana University released its list of the top most influential think tanks.

The Network for Public Education was rated #3. NPE was also rated #11 in scholarly expertise, with Diane Ravitch rated #3 as an edu-influencer and Carol Burris at #19.

That is the good news. The bad news is that so many think tanks that are hostile to public education surround NPE on the list.  And when you look at how much they spent in 2022, we should not be surprised they made the list.

NPE is big on influence, but influence without the funding to expand our reach, hire staff, and fund projects puts us at a terrible disadvantage.

Let me be blunt. If we are going to save public education, then we need funding.

If everyone receiving this email pledged just $5.00 a month, we would raise $750,000 in one month alone. Don’t be a bystander. Do your part in protecting public education.

You can type $5.00 or more in the” other” amount and then click reoccurring, or you can make a one-time donation.
