Texas Gov. Greg Abbott believes his support for school choice advocates that led to several Republican incumbents losing their primary races won him enough support to push through his education agenda during the next legislative session. While Abbott and his deep-pocketed donors celebrate, Texas taxpayers might want to hold their applause.
